HTC P4550 “Kaiser” gets the hands-on treatment

Paul from MoDaCo has raised our envy levels to a record high by getting hands-on with the king of Windows Mobile 6 Professional devices, the HTC Kaiser. While no specs have changed since we first saw it — that handset has both quad-band GSM and HSDPA, WiFi, and GPS — it is comforting to manufacture out that the touchy-feely aspects are just as well done. Smaller, lighter, and cooler (thanks in no small part to the Qualcomm 7200 processor) we’re thinking that HTC may have finally found the recipe for the perfect Windows Mobile handset. Apart from lost a 3.5mm headset jack, the only way we can see that thing getting one-upped is with a bump to VGA resolution. Word is that the Kaiser may well ship in August and not October as we had heard. We can’t wait.
